In 2012, Emily Streete and Michael Grant began jamming together as Drive. After a few gigs around Edinburgh they realised that all the songs that they wanted to perform required horns. As awesome as Mike’s face melting guitar solos are, they decided that musically, they were going to need a bigger boat.
In March 2013, two became six : Emily and The Fedoras were formed. With a shared passion for an era where the music was as cool as the style, the band began reworking classic Soul, Motown and Classic Rock hits.
As the set list grew and gigs became plentiful, word got out about the band’s infectious energy and onstage banter.
